My mission is to provide you with inspiration and encouragement to live everyday to it's fullest. I do this by sharing the simple things in life such as recipes to the most difficult of things such a life. We all know life is a struggle and many days a balancing act, but I am here to inspire you to do it well. Everything I write about is designed to inspire as well as encourage you to be a "better" you that you can be. Everything I share is raw and real. I do not cover up or sugar coat what I write about. This would benefit no one. My goal is for you to walk away feeling uplifted and encouraged after leaving my page. Lastly, I am here to remind you that you are… enough and beautiful… just the way you are.
Today’s encouragement is coming from the theme of peace. When I looked out my kitchen window this morning I saw the most beautiful pink sky. It was so beautiful I needed to take a picture to savor the moment.
Find Peace in the day, Friend. If God can create such beauty in the morning, then He can prepare you for today.
In the quiet peaceful moment I felt God telling me, “Quiet my child, breathe and find your moment of peace. If I can create this in the morning sky, I can take care of your every need.”
“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my request before you and wait expectantly. ~ Psalm 5:3 NIV
I felt God wanted me to share this with you as well.
Did you wake up carrying the stress of yesterday? Are you waking up to the busyness of today? Are you waking up with tears in your eyes because the physical or emotional pain is just too much to bear?
Turn your eyes upward to God. Share your heart with Him and let Him take that pain away. Let Him share “The Peace of The Morning” with you as well.
Hugs my friend, you’ve got this. God is carrying you through out the day.
I am a wife, mom, and daughter. I have served in the United States Army, gone to college, and received a Batchelor's Degree in Criminology. I married my husband when he was on active duty in the United States Army so I have the unique knowledge of what it is like to be on both sides of a Military uniform. I have been a wife for a lot longer than when I was in the Army.
While we were stationed in Germany, my daughter, who is 23 years old now was born and I chose to put my career on hold to be a mom and eventually a homeschool mom.
The past 15 years have been wrought with many struggles for various reasons, but it is as a result of those struggles that this blog has come about.
As the years passed and the struggle kept coming, I would say to God, "I'm not sure why we have to go through all of this, but if we have to God, then allow my story to serve as a means of encouragement to others so all this pain isn't for nothing."
Well, the years passed but the struggles never went away. I feel now is the time God wants me to begin sharing my story. It is my prayer as I share my heart that it will serve as a healing opportunity for you, my readers. Know you are not alone. There are hope and encouragement that waits.
