Beauty is Found in Your Character and Strength
Do you look in the mirror and are struggling to like what you see?
Do you feel like you must follow the commercials on TV and social media that are trying to sell you the latest line of youthful cosmetics, beauty aids, gym equipment, vitamins, and organic healthy foods and drinks?
Your motivational reminder today is that you are “Beautiful” both inside and outside.
God created you perfect in his image.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; “my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14 (ESV)
Your beauty runs deep down into who you are and what makes up your personality, your character, and even your soul.
Have you ever noticed when you look past a person’s outer appearance and look deep into a person’s eyes, you are able to see how either beautiful or shallow a person is?
This is because your true beauty is found inside, not on the outside of your appearance.
Let your eyes, your smile and your character shine through so others are able to see your “true” beauty.
Remember God’s words, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Lastly, let this verse be one you cling to when you struggle with what you and your mirror see.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.” Proverbs 31:25 (ESV)
My friend, strength and dignity are extremely valuable traits that will allow your true beauty to shine brightly.
Allow these character traits to be who the “true” you is and where your “beauty” comes from.
Smile and allow your beauty to shine brighter than the brightest of day.
