Encouragement Today
Today’s Encouragement is to remind you no matter what your circumstances are, no matter how good or bad they are, God can use you to share His word and encouragement with others.
It is our responsibility to take the ugly and turn it into a positive. God wants us to look and lean on Him for strength and wisdom.
Bloom where you are planted.
Do not fall into the trap of letting your circumstances define you. We all go through trials in our lives, but chose to rise above your circumstances and allow God’s Love to shine through you.
With God’s guidance, we can turn our difficult situations into positive ones while allowing Him to be seen through the eyes of others.

I am a wife, mom, and daughter. I have served in the United States Army, gone to college, and received a Batchelor's Degree in Criminology. I married my husband when he was on active duty in the United States Army so I have the unique knowledge of what it is like to be on both sides of a Military uniform. I have been a wife for a lot longer than when I was in the Army.
While we were stationed in Germany, my daughter, who is 23 years old now was born and I chose to put my career on hold to be a mom and eventually a homeschool mom.
The past 15 years have been wrought with many struggles for various reasons, but it is as a result of those struggles that this blog has come about.
As the years passed and the struggle kept coming, I would say to God, "I'm not sure why we have to go through all of this, but if we have to God, then allow my story to serve as a means of encouragement to others so all this pain isn't for nothing."
Well, the years passed but the struggles never went away. I feel now is the time God wants me to begin sharing my story. It is my prayer as I share my heart that it will serve as a healing opportunity for you, my readers. Know you are not alone. There are hope and encouragement that waits.

I just came across your comment. I am so sorry for the delay. Life got crazy for me just after writing this. I am so thankful you were encouraged by this. Thank you for sharing your encouraging words.
Also, thank you for the wonderful words of inspiration. I am far from any famous blogger. I am just a little person who tries to share encouragement to others as God shows me what to write about for the day.
How ironic though I stumble on this now as I was feeling pretty discouraged that my blog wasn’t meaning anything to others. You have encouraged me that it is touching others so I will continue to write and trust God’s direction for this blog. If I ever make it to the big leagues I will come back looking for you, (smiles) :).
