Difficult Weeks Mean Extra Special Encouragement

Are you waking up exhausted physically, mentally, or emotionally, from a hard week?

It is my prayer this encouragement will serve as a means to refresh you and remind you no matter how difficult or stressful life might be that you are special and important.

  • No matter how beat up or unimportant you may feel, you are not!
  • No matter how unappreciated you may feel, you are not!
  • No matter how insignificant you may feel, you are not!
  • No matter how unworthy you may feel, you are not!

My friend, you matter more than you know!

God made you special and He didn’t make any mistakes.

Big Hugs to anyone who needs one today.

If you would like a safe place to land to vent or share or cry out I am here.

Just leave a comment below and I will read it. If you wish to leave it personal, I will not make it visible.

Not Everything Has To Change

Credit: Home.Life.Encouragement

As we start a new week of a new year, do not get wrapped up in so much change that you forget the simple things in life that bring you joy.

Not everything in your life has to change.

Remember this quote:

“Some of the best things in life are the small things you take for granted.”

Roger Lee

Instead of focusing on all things to change in your life, take some time to look at what you may be taking for granted.

You Are Not Alone

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

I want to send out a note of encouragement to those who may be struggling during this time of celebration.

As the holiday season comes to a close and we approach a new year, often times the pain we are holding now, we take with us.

There are many who are:

  • Experiencing health issues and are in the hospital
  • Fighting against complicated health issues
  • Struggling financially
  • Grieving the loss of a loved one
  • Lonely
  • Lost
  • Suffering with PTSD and other emotional disorders

These problems do not discriminate because of a holiday season or a time of celebration nor do they automatically go away.

But, be encouraged my friend!

God sees you.

He sees your pain.
He is drying your tears.
He is calming your fears.
He is healing your body.
He is healing your heart.
He is meeting your every need!

Here is an encouraging verse to cling to today.

“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever.

Psalm 75:26

Hang in there and know you are not alone. God has not abandoned you or forsaken you, instead He is holding you and is strengthening you.

Big hugs! ❤️

Giving Our Children Our Time

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

I spent the afternoon helping my daughter get ready for her preschoolers this week.

I did not have this help as I grew up, and because I didn’t, it is my intention to help her as long as I am able to do so.

She made some fall and Christmas play dough mats, pumpkins that the kids can put faces on, and this adorable little scarecrow to help with her story times.

This cute little scarecrow is by far my most favorite of what I helped her do today.

Between the two of us, we spend a lot of Sundays preparing for the new school week.

This week was no different. However, for me I offered my assistance to her instead.

Motherhood/parenthood doesn’t ever just stop because the kids grow older and I am thankful it doesn’t.

I am richly blessed to be a mom and to also be an active one as well.

Do you still help your kids with activities?

If you do, leave a comment below explaining what you do still.

God Sees You Today

Stand tall and smile.

Stand tall and smile!

For all who are over worked and under appreciated, know God sees your loyalty and dedication whether those around you see it or they don’t.

Work for Him today instead of those around you while knowing He will give you the strength to get through the day.

Grab Your Paintbrush and Create Your Masterpiece

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

Life can get crazy and out of control.

All too many times we give others the power to run our lives.

“Don’t hand your paint brush to anyone else, you are the artist to your own life.”

Unknown Author

We let our families, our kids, our jobs, and our extracurricular activities rule over our lives.

What we have to realize is that we gave them the power to do this.

If you are not happy with your life or your circumstances, only you have the power to take your life back.

My friend, the paintbrush and paint “your” masterpiece.

Your Strength Is Your Beauty

Credit: Home.Life.Encouragement

I want to encourage you if life has you discouraged and beat up.

“Youre braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

A. A. Mine

Your strength is your beauty because God is your strength and your endless supply and source of it.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Psalm‬ ‭46:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Stand tall and strong knowing you are not doing life on your own.

Allow your beauty to shine through because God has you.

Sit back and just breathe knowing God is refreshing you today.

Beauty Does Not Require Competition

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

Does nature compete with others to stand out in the crowd?

No!

God made it’s beauty to stand out all on it’s own.

All the more we should look to the beauty of nature and learn the lesson God is teaching.

He made each and everyone of us uniquely beautiful, therefore you do not need to compete with others to stand out in a crowd.

“You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way.”

Songs of Solomon 4:7 NLT

Today’s Encouragement is simple… Stand Tall & Beautiful because God made you that way.

Monday’s To-Do List

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

Monday Motivation

Today’s motivation is to encourage you to be strong, determined, and motivated to make the best of what this week is to hold for you.

Monday’s To-Do List

  • Make my bed
  • Be determined
  • Be grateful

If we start our week with the mind set of these three simple principles, then we have mentally prepared ourselves for a more positive outcome.

Now, to briefly examine this list.

  • Make my bed

Who makes their bed everyday?

I for one, believe by getting up and making my bed I have already accomplished a simple task for the day. Every time I go to my bedroom, I am reminded this is done and it makes me feel better about myself.

If you do not make your bed every day, I challenge you to try it for just a week and see if it helps to change your perspective to starting your day.

  • Be determined

If I was not determined to do what is often times hard, I would not have the motivation to push through what is difficult.

Think about the areas in your life you struggle with.

Do you have the strength and determination to push through what is difficult to accomplish what is important to you?

Be encouraged knowing God will give you the strength to fight for what is important. He will give you the determination you need to accomplish this task, just be sure to ask.

Do not rely on your own strength, or you will fall short of completion.

Remember these words…

“He who has prepared us for this very thing is God…”

2 Corinthians 5:5
  • Be grateful

Lastly, be grateful for everything you accomplish and do not take it for granted.

For where our gratitude is, there will be a sense of accomplishment.

Remember this verse God gave us.

“… Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you.”

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:18‬

Gratitude is as powerful as determination in accomplishing tasks.

If you’re not thankful for what you have and what you have accomplished, then why bother working towards accomplishing the goal?

If your week looks like it will be long and difficult, then be encouraged by these inspirational words…

“What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”

Oscar Wilde

Today may be the day that you need to try changing your perspective at how you look at your trial or difficulty.

Instead, look at it as a blessing in disguise. What is it trying to teach you? What are you meant to learn from it.

Maybe the blessing is found by trying to accomplish it a different way. All too many times we get tunnel vision and do not see there is a better way.

My friend, now you have been equipped with some motivation, here is to a happy and accomplished week.

Commitment Leads To Accomplishments

Credit: Home. Life. Encouragement

As we begin a new week, think about what accomplishments you desire.

Will they be difficult to obtain, but your desire is great?

Stand firm on this verse,

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Do not give up! Stand strong and stay committed.

Do not grow weary for God will give you the strength to persevere and will bless you for your commitment.

“Commitment is the foundation of great accomplishments.” Heidi Reeder
