How many people have entered into your life because you shared something in common?
Do you share a job that is either a good or a bad one?
Do you share the Military in common and have people come and go in your life between of either changes in duty stations or changes in assignments?
Do you have a family member with difficult medical issues and have met people who share your same medical conditions?
Are you a homeschool family and are involved in similar co-ops or activities and have encountered other homeschooling families sharing similar family dynamics creating friendships you never thought was possible?
In my experiences with these types of bonds, they tend to be my tightest friendships.
They truly get what I am going through whether they are positive or negative experiences. As a result I have learned to nurture and cherish these people.
If you have someone like this in your life then I challenge you to reach out to them by any means possible to tell them how much you appreciate their friendship.
Do not take this relationship for granted as it is a special bond God created.
Nurture it, grow it, and cherish it because you never know when it could be taken away.
